Our first yakiniku experience on Ishigaki Island was a great success! Located conveniently at the beginning of the main street, surrounded by many other restaurants, this spot is an excellent choice to kick off your culinary adventures. And wow, it certainly did not disappoint! The selection of meats is extensive, offering various quality grades and cuts such as ribs, tenderloin, sirloin, and more. The bibimbap pot rice is a satisfying and affordable filler, easily enough for two people. The salad is fresh and served with a delicious roasted sesame sauce. A highlight is grilling the meat yourself over a charcoal fire – not gas or electric! The high heat allows you to perfectly sear your meats and vegetables. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. While some speak a little English, a translator app can easily bridge any communication gaps. During high season, it's highly recommended to make a reservation for this popular restaurant. However, if you're visiting during the off-season, a reservation is typically not necessary.

Go and eat there & be very happy you made the BEST decision to get the best ishigaki steak!! Melts in your mouth!! We had been tasting other islands favorites so our regret was we weren't starving when we went and got 2 types of steak! We did get some sides and I recommend the kimchi and cold noodles!! Staff were very friendly and helped us order! Takes credit card and yen. Very slim parking on site, would need to find a parking lot. Menu in Japanese and English.

I had a wonderful experience in this specialty charcoal-grilled Ishigama beef restaurant, We ordered a beef platter and an Agu pork platter, and every piece of meat was absolutely delicious. The freshness and springy texture of the meat were evident with each bite. The grilled beef tongue had a slight charred aroma, with a crisp exterior and tender interior. The marbled wagyu beef was perfectly balanced with fat, and when grilled to a golden brown, it melted in the mouth with a rich, buttery flavor. The Agu pork belly was exceptionally juicy — its crispy skin and tender meat delivered a delightful combination of savory and subtly sweet flavors, showcasing the premium quality of the pork. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff were attentive and friendly, frequently checking if we needed anything, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

It’s very good! You should make a reservation at least 1 night before. We ordered 2 sets (450g beef total) and it was the right amount for 2 people. The fillet was the best cut. Foreigners: beware the English menu is missing a number of items you will want, such as salad, kimchi, sea grapes, etc. I suggest using the Japanese menu with a translator app instead. In terms of the atmosphere, there needs to be stronger A/C or ventilation in the restaurant. Our faces were turning red from the heat of the grill.

It was located in the 3rd floor of the 730 court which locates at the heart of Ishigaki. Good service and the food is wonderful. Better to make the reservation at least one day before. It was full already when I walk-in at around 18:00. They do accept one person booking but you can have more options in Ishigaki for similar price. The meat is juicy and more Korean style.

Was not too busy when we showed up, service was quick and efficient and food was delicious. Can really tell the difference between the cuts of meat so worth getting the 5 kind platter to try. Will be back to order individual cuts of meat next time since we know what we want now. One of the best cuts was on the Japanese specials menu, we ordered Harami and it just melts in your mouth.
